Equine Laser Therapy
Laser Therapy accelerates healing and improve the repair, regeneration, and remodeling of tissue in the horse. Some indications for laser therapy are wound healing, pain management, tendon/ligament injuries, muscle tears, and neurologic injuries. Some benefits of laser therapy are decreased pain, increased wound healing, decreased inflammation, increased tensile strength of tendon/ligament and a return to function.
Canine Laser Therapy
Laser Therapy accelerates healing and improves the repair, regeneration, and remodeling of tissue in dogs. Laser Therapy employs deep-penetrating light to promote a chain of chemical reactions known as photobiomodulation. This process helps relieve pain through the release of endorphins stimulating injured cells to heal at an accelerated pace.
Zink-Notley Equine Solutions & Consulting offers alternative therapies for both horses and dogs. Our non-invasive, side effect free options are fast and effective for treatment of pain relief, injuries and sports conditioning.

Acupoint Laser Therapy
Acupoint Laser Therapy is an alternative treatment to traditional needle acupuncture. This non-invasive technique uses laser stimulation to excite precise points on the body, the same points used in traditional acupuncture, to activate their functions, and affect deep tissue layers.
BEMER Horse-Set
The BEMER Horse-Set is an FDA registered medical device and the most revolutionary and innovative technology to support your horse's health, injury recovery, well-being and performance.
BEMER is scientifically proven with no negative side effects, non-invasive and thus safe to use. As a result, the horse's body can work more efficiently to heal itself, and feel more energetic.
BEMER is an FEI approved supportive therapy.
Kinesiology Taping
Kinesiology Tape can be used as either a sole or adjunctive treatment in equine and small animal therapy, helping to reduce and control pain, manage swelling and edema, increase joint range of motion, and improve muscle function.
Kinesiology Tape microscopically lifts the skin away from the muscle and fascia below, creating a decompressive effect and helps maintain a level of functionality and comfort for the animal throughout injury rehabilitation.
Stretching
Stretching is one of the best preventative measures you can take to avoid injury. Stiffness can result in injury, leading to inactivity, and eventually speed up the aging of the musculoskeletal system. By increasing your horse’s suppleness and elasticity, you can greatly reduce the risk of pulled muscles or tendons. Proper stretching can appropriately lengthen contracted muscles and extend them to their proper position, taking stress off of the joint, improving circulation and relieving pain, inflammation, and muscle spasms.
Strength & Rehab
Programs
Strength, power, and endurance are the three major components of any athlete's goal. These components are imperative to achieve your competitive goals, but more importantly to prevent your teammate from injury. The particular sport or competition in which your horse is involved will decipher the primary training requirement of the muscles (i.e. for power or for endurance). Your strength training program will be based on knowledge of the movements and muscular actions involved to simulate the range and speed of motion used in that sport or competition.
